  • PE-Xc (scientific name: radiant crosslinked polyethylene pipe) is a pipe fitting of high polymer material, which is made of HDPE and other auxiliary raw materials (such as antioxygen). Pipe (non-crosslinked) is extruded out of plastic extruder, then the non-crosslinked pipe extruded is placed on the radiation appliance (electron accelerator or Co-60 irradiation station) for radiation crosslinking with highenergy ray (electron beam or γ ray irradiation); PE pipe produced via such method is called radiant crosslinked polyethylene pipe (PE-Xc pipe).

       PE-Xc (scientific name: radiant crosslinked polyethylene pipe) is a pipe fitting of high polymer material, which is made of HDPE and other auxiliary raw materials (such as antioxygen). Pipe (non-crosslinked) is extruded out of plastic extruder, then the non-crosslinked pipe extruded is placed on the radiation appliance (electron accelerator or Co-60 irradiation station) for radiation crosslinking with highenergy ray (electron beam or γ ray irradiation); PE pipe produced via such method is called radiant crosslinked polyethylene pipe (PE-Xc pipe).

 

       PE crosslinking includes chemical and physical methods; chemical method refers to PE-Xa, PE-Xb or PE-Xd, and physical crosslinking means that without adding chemical crosslinking agent, PE molecule under high-energy ray generates free radical, and then intermolecular cross bond is generated via combination of free radical to form the crosslinked structure of PE molecule. Basic principle of radiation crosslinking: PE molecule under high-energy particle generates macromolecule free radical, and then cross bond is generated via combination of free radical to form 3D network structure of PE molecule.

       FISPTE PE-Xc (five-layer) antioxidant heating pipe is a radiant crosslinked polyethylene pipe without chemical cross-linking agent. Characterized by general heat-resisting, cold-resistant and chemically resistant performance, it also has the merits of yieldingness, easy construction, long service life (as long as 50 years), uniform degree of crosslinking, high chemical purity, good hygiene, etc., and is especially suitable for fluid conveying like purified water and other fluid with high purity requirements; PE-Xc pipe adopts the post-crosslinking process, and general extrusion equipment. Thus, the appearance quality is easily controlled; Radiation crosslinking is solid crosslinking and also a post-crosslinking process. The degree of radiation crosslinking depends on the radiation dosage. The uniformity of crosslinking is controlled by the computer-controlled radiation uniformity, therefore, it has a good crosslinking uniformity; In the middle is EVOH antioxidant layer, which is oxygen-resistant completely, and may prevent heating systems from oxygen corrosion. It can be widely applied to the floor heating system laying in the household heating system of wall-hanging stove and connecting pipe of high-temperature radiator. Radiation crosslinking requires large-scale radiating facilities, and radiation crosslinking production line is largely invested at the early stage with high production cost, therefore, FISPTE adopts the German imported products.
